Correction on Africa is a Country Story

Submitted by paul on Sat, 11/15/2008 - 13:15.

Well, it appears that Fox News was hood winked by someone who claimed to be in the McCain campaign. The person did not exist. He was an alias of a fake think tank.

Sarah Palin is getting a lot more press right now. She is still spewing ultra-conservative rhetoric. She is also continuing her attacks on Barack Obama.

In one breath, she is supporting the new President elect. In the other breath, she is putting her digs in with the, "bless his heart" put down.

The election is over, it is time to move onto more important things like keeping our economy moving.

Wasilla Hillbillies go to Washington

Submitted by paul on Fri, 11/07/2008 - 16:22.

I guess there is a possibility that Sarah Palin may end up in Washington as a result of the Stevens scandal. I really just wish she stayed up north.

So, I have penned this intro to the Wasilla Hillbillies, (Sung to the TV Show Beverly Hillibillies).

Let me tell you a story about Sarah the Governer"
"From a small town in Alaska where nothin really there"
"Then she was spotted by Karl Rove the shrew."
"He thought she could be the next George double U"
.....
"Folksy and all"
"Thinks Africa a country"
"Doesn't know what a VP does"

"So she packed up her family"

Letter to Senator Lugar

Dear Senator Lugar,

I just read today that you have expressed no interest in the post of Secretary of State in an President Elect Obama cabinet.

Your country needs you in this important role. You are the one figure in this country that can represent our interests abroad with instant credibility from world leaders. There is no one more qualified than you.

Sarah Palin thinks Africa is a country?! WTF?

Submitted by paul on Thu, 11/06/2008 - 13:32.

Fox News reported on O"Reilly of all things that Sarah Palin thinks Africa is a country and does not understand it is a continent. (Of course O'Reilly thinks it is ok for someone running for such a high office can be briefed on important details that a 5th grader would know).

Will Joe the Plumber get a cabinet position in a McCain Administration?

Submitted by paul on Sat, 11/01/2008 - 14:17.

Joe the Plumber should be the McCain Administration's Secretary of State. His extensive knowledge of US-Israeli relations makes him the logical choice should the McCain administration win.

His education and background makes him an expert in different forms of government. Particularly, his understanding of the differences between Communism, Socialism, and Capitalism. Oh, I forgot, I believe he is an expert in Islam too. After all, he has eaten lamb at the Lebanese restaurant in Toledo. (Well, maybe he hasn't).

The Age of Fear

Submitted by paul on Fri, 10/24/2008 - 00:53.

9/11 when everything changed
The day fear took over
The age of anger and hate

They want to kill you
Can't you see?
Give up your freedom
You will be safe
Give your power to me

Let's fight with each other
Let's call each other names
Just do what I say
No questions please

Christians beware
The end is near
We will make it happen
Follow us there

Do not think
It is no longer necessary
Feel the anger, the fear
Kill the enemy

No longer do we fear, fear itself
We embrace it everyday
Giving up our freedoms
So we can be safe

What happen to America?

It's FEAR Time

Submitted by paul on Tue, 10/14/2008 - 18:50.

The gloves are coming off! The McCain campaign is bringing fear and loathing into the elections. If we vote for Barack Obama, we are all going to die. He is black after all. His name sounds Muslim. He must be a terrorist. EVERYONE RUN AND HIDE!

We've got nothing to fear...but fear itself?
Not pain, not failure, not fatal tragedy?
Not the faulty units in this mad machinery?
Not the broken contacts in emotional chemistry?

With an iron fist in a velvet glove
We are sheltered under the gun
In the glory game on the power train
Thy kingdom's will be done

Does Sarah Palin have a tattoo?

Submitted by paul on Tue, 09/02/2008 - 19:14.

After going to the Ted Nugent concert, it got me thinking, does Sarah Pallin have a tattoo? She would probably fit into this crowd. Isn't she a life-long member of the NRA? (Not that there is anything wrong with that).

Still scratching my head.

Breaking news.....I guess she does. This from a source in Alaska.

Ted Nugent and machine guns

Submitted by paul on Tue, 09/02/2008 - 17:02.

Ted Nugent made his annual appearance at the Indianapolis Rib Fest here this past weekend.

Ted declares that, "Every child should be equipped with a machine gun", as he holds up a tommy gun to an approving crowd.

My daughter wanted to go to the concert with her friends. My parental instincts said I better go with her. I am glad I did. Good news, the kids did not listen to what he was saying. I think they just wanted to show up.

I really wish Kansas would come back to the Rib fest. They just play great music.

We are all suckers...

Buying and selling is an emotional endeavor. No matter how logical we think we are, the ultimate decision to buy or do something touches an emotional nerve in the buyer.

I am attending a blogging conference and one of the presenters is making fantastic claims of 1st page Google positioning and high conversion rates. It is the greatest way to market yourself because it is inexpensive. (Though he prices his product by the number of blogs he has).
